I'm an artist living  in the Adirondack Mountains. The environment provides a world of creativity for me. My  inspiration comes from towering mountains, pristine waterways and the forest .

In the winter I spend a few months in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona. I'm inspired from the bounty of desert flowers, cactus and tumbleweed. Individually, they emulate tessellations ,symmetry, repeated patterns and texture. 

I have created a few portraits.   In my portraits I try to convey feelings of everyday life.

The body of water that I reside at has provided a new avenue for my Art.  Decomposition is the theme  for  a series of paintings  created from sediment at the bottom of the river.  I secure  my canvas on the river bottom for an average of 4 days. The sediment is composed of rusty particles, plant debris and sand.  A pigment is created on my canvas consisting of various color values of burnt sienna ,and raw umber. This color palette produces shapes, lines and patterns.  The canvas dictates what I will paint.  

My Art is forever evolving.  . It will always be.
